1209 Mower Conditioner

New for 1976 was the John Deere 1209 mower conditioner.  The 1209 takes a 9'3" cut conditioning or swathing the row. The conditioning rolls are gear and shaft driven to simplify timing.  The new knife drive on the 1209 cut noise levels.  The 1/16 1209 model was offered by Ertl from 1978 to 1986. Today the mower brings around $35 NIB.
